Given the media-hype on the CRISIS I want you to take a minute to think and react on

the statement below.

“The optimist sees opportunity in every danger;

the pessimist sees danger in every Opportunitythe optimist card

And the realist?

The Optimist, the Pessimist and the Realist

    That is a nice and very important wisdom. It is to bad a lot of people have a negative nature in general. THere first reaction is always negative. Of course you can see this as an opportunity as well. There are people that earn money by changing the way people think in this area. So yes, truly an opportunity. The same thing is valid in companies, there are people that leave when an important person leaves a company, other see it as an opportunity to grow. Hmm, somehow I am giving a bad example here :-).

    Since a few months I am involved in the open source expert group at the computable site. An article on that site : , states that open source can get a boost out of this CRISIS. Whether that is a correct thought, well yes I think so. Not that I believe it will help all companies, you still have to know what to do with open source before you can benefit from it. I have expressed my opinion about this lot’s of times. But to stay optimistic, yes open source will become more important. So boost up your open source knowledge and make sure you will take one opportunity during this crisis

    Another thing to be optimistic about is the price of the fuel, wow that is a lot better now

    So what are your optimistic thoughts? I am pretty optimistic that we will get a white christmas.
